Fiji Blue Pearl or Electron Blue Pearl for EM1 repaint?
Getting my EBP em1 repainted this week and need to decide between these two colors since I like them both since they look similar to me. What can you say the difference is? I'm kinda leaning toward Fiji Blue since it seems more unique to have on an EM1, but I'm planning on leaving my engine bay EBP just incase I want to bring back to stock color in the future. So how much of a difference between these two blues? Also will it lessen the theft rate of my Em1 if I get Fiji Blue since I also have my Em1 debadged.

What part of "tech only" do people not understand? This is the tech section. Paint is not tech.
Also, two different shades of blue between your bay and body would look ugly as ****.

Im delirious with the questions.
asking about the shades and then inquiring if the car will be less apt to be stolen with a change of color..
No wonder our country is falling apart so fast.
Leave the car alone.
Not only will your car look like ***, but you'll kill the resale value because it doesnt have the stock color on it.

Noobie mistake, now you know.
As for the colors, it's on you man. We're not the people who will be living with the car. As a note, if the cars original paint is still in good condition I don't really see the point in respraying my self. "if It ain't broke don't fix it"
Fresh paint might make the car a magnet for thieves. just throwing it out there.

Why would you be thinking about bringing it back to stock in the future? That just sounds... pointless, IMO. And no, it will NOT make your vehicle's "theft rate" any less... was that really a serious question? Come on...
^^I agree^^

I know this is very old but honestly compared side by side or even like you was saying the electron blue bay and the rest if the car fiji blue, there is hardly any difference between the two. I actually have a daily driver that needed a few rust spots fixed, it's the 06 si fiji blue and nowhere around me had Fiji blue touch up paint and being it's just a daily not a show car, I grabbed a can of the electron blue paint to use. After sanding and priming, I added the paint done some blending by wet sanding, then added my clear and you cannot see any difference. Come to find out after speaking with a local paint shop that blends automotive paint, the codes for those 2 paints cross match in there system. I find it crazy how people get more negative d***h*** responses in the forums than actual.helpful info. Smh!
