Default LSVTEC Ecu

Hey guys, could use your opinion… doing a LSVtec swap. I have a b18b1 block and doing the B18C1 head. I got the install part down but I have questions on my ECU. I’ve never done a LSVTEC before…. Some have said just get a OBD1 LS ECU and you can tap into the ECU for the LSVTEC.. others have said, just look and get a P28 ECU especially if I’m going to go after market intake manifold. I guess it depends on the actual intake manifold? I also plan on boosting eventually. Just seeing the best option and doing it the right way. Thanks!

John

neither ECU is going to be right for you're setup... you will need the right program via 'chip' to run it closer to right. (tuning gets it right)

if you're going boost, do the P28 with a chip till you are ready for a tune.
OR you can do the LS ECU(P75) with a chip also, you simply add the VTEC parts. (provided if you or someone you knows can solder electronic parts)
