if im correct.. this motor will be more money plus time consuming. in a 5th gen the common swap if any is the h22. however my friend did a K24 swap into his Toyota MR2 Spyder.

You're on crack, you can find k24a4 longblocks (accord engine) for 850 bucks, and k24a2 longblocks (TSX engine) for 2600.

Hondata can be bought from alot of different vendors.

I think you can order direct from Hasport.

For the Si/RSX-S engine harness and RSX-S C101 thing, Rywire.com might have it, I never heard of it, though.

Most people who go aftermarket with a FPR go with either Aeromotive or Fuel-lab. So try checking them out

I also did some reasearch on this swap and I came to the conclusion that its waaaaayyyy to much much money to be kinda cool. motors run you a couple grand...Kpro itself is 1200, also lots of time...I'd wait a couple years before doing it because by then more people will have done it and it'll be cheaper...oh hasport makes the motor mount kit..I forgot how much they are though

1. You have to get it from a stealership, they're awfully damn hard to find in a junkyard. If not look on http://www.car-parts.com for that.
2. Stealership or car-parts.com
3. ^^
4. I've got a friend for kpro.

Contact me via AIM only, the H-T IM thing doesn't work well for me, for help with the engines, I've got a friend who buys them cheap.

Check out the honda-tech market-place....like two weeks ago there was a type-s head and k24 bottomend shipped for like $2500 or near it....came with everything you'd need....as for the driveshafts check out driveshaftshop.com....they should be able to hook you up with any drivshaft combo you'd want....i know the k-swap into the cb's and cd's isnt real popular yet which is why I applaude your Idea, but the h22a is a whole lot cheaper route....as for the mounts hasport.com of course has the mount kit availible now....and is pretty reasonalby priced....just a little bit of input hopfully helped some....good luck man

LMK if im wrong and youve got a url or something.</TD></TR></TABLE>

this was my understanding as well.

I looked on the HASport website and didn't see any mount kits for the K series into a 5th gen Accord. Nor did I see any kit for any Accord for that matter.

http://www.jhpusa.com has a k24 longblock out of a CR-V for about 850... but don't sleep on that motor i have one and it makes good power...anything TSX should bolt-on to it many minor modification when it comes to the mani but outside that its pretty easy!!!!

My buddy is doing a k swap into his accord. You can pick up k24a1 crv long blocks for a pretty low price, add the k20a2 head for 650-850. Kpro does not cost 1200, its usually around 1000. The swap will be fun and awesome when its done. When I wire up my buddies accord, ill either make a harness for you as well if you want or i can send you a diagram and wire it up yourself. And you can also use the tsx transmission. A few other things as well. Good luck.

Yeah the friend of mine does have an h22 in his car, and when it got spanked by my k20...it opened his eyes more to the k powa. Then when he seen my car boosted...its even crazier.

so the k24 engine swap would be better than the h22 for my 5th gen?
but isnt the h22 cheaper, is there that big difference between them?

does the k20 head on the k24 block still give out the same hp and torque or less?

I have seen several stock k24a1 with k20a2 heads produce 220-235whp and 185-205 wtq. with an rbc intake manifold and good header.
