Default Location of Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor?

Hello,
Recently had the clutch replaced but came back with an the engine light light on. Scan saids its the P0118 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor circuit high input. Code comes back after clearing. Engine temp guage shows full after about a minute after starting the car so isn't accurate.
Can anyone help with the location of the sensor? It's an 07 HONDA CIVIC SPORT Manual FD2 4 Door Sedan FWD PETROL 2.0 litre, K20Z2 I4 16v DOHC VTEC MPFI

Likely the sensor was damaged getting the transmission in or out, the sensor is right above the bellhousing.

The photo above is actually from an earlier version of the K20A... your ECT sensor is slightly higher and more rearward on the same end of the cylinder head in the K20Z2. It is less visible because the coolant housing, which contains the upper radiator inlet and the rearward facing heater hose, is on the same end of the head and covers the area circled in the photo above.

So I found the temp sensor location and looks like the wire has been pulled out from the connector. How to I reconnect the wires to a connector like that? Also, which wire is the upper wire and which one is lower? (it's a green w/ black stripe and a red w/ white stripe). I have included some photos. Thanks again!
EDIT: So I managed to remove the inner connectors that crimp on to the wire with some pick tools. But if anyone knows which way around the wires go, would be much appreciated. Or will it damage anything if I get it wrong the first time?

Due to the wire colors, your Australian Civic's terminal wiring may be similar to the US Si terminal wiring for the ECT sensor 1.

That is a female connector, so the terminal numbering is based on the wire side of the connector.
