Default A Friendly Hello from a new Honda Owner

Hello everyone, I have been lurking this forum trying to gain knowledge during my lengthy search for a "fun" car for myself. I have some decent automotive knowledge from working on previous vehicles I owned over the years, most recently was a Nissan Altima that I had done a full audio install. Before that I had an S10 Blazer that I lifted and set up for offroading. I am a very indecisive person when it comes to making large decisions so I've changed my mind a ton over the time I've been wanting a car simply to toy around with and not as a daily driver because with a daily driver there is always a worry of down time for me should I break a bolt or something.

Enough about me though, I'm sure you are interested in the car. A little over a year ago I finally narrowed down that I wanted a Del Sol, though there are quite a few for sale in my state (California) I wanted what could be described as somewhat of a unicorn. I wanted an unmolested example with a clean title that wouldn't give me any issues with smog. Needless to say after a year of searching and countless sellers ghosting me, I found my unicorn and pick it up tomorrow. It is a clean title black 95 s with 161k miles, aside from some ricer rims and an aftermarket head unit it is a stock 5 speed with the D15B7 and all service records up until 2017 when it was bought by a mechanic that did all of his own work.

My goal is to keep the motor stock and focus on handling, as the saying goes it is better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. Although I am going to keep it in it's stock form for a while so I can get an understanding of the characteristics of the car before making any changes and it will give me an ability to appreciate the changes I do make no matter how small. I look forward to becoming an active member here and hope to learn and help teach whatever I can.
