Weird non start issue with 99 accord
Greetings all. I can usually figure out issue with my car myself, but not this one. My 99 accord 2.3L manual transmission car has been sitting for aboout a month or 2 in the garage. I went to start it the other day, and it was completely dead. I figured it was the battery because she had been cranking a little slowly before that. So i tried to jump start it, but she would not start. It sounded very different. Like, an electrical motor dragging. The starter moves slower, and sounds quieter/weird. So, being the starter has 255k miles on it, I figured I would just replace it because it's not an expensive part. I replaced the start, redid all the wires and grounds, new battery terminal to replace the one bad one. Nothing changed. It still sounds the same, and won't start. My jump box will start a v10 truck, so I know I have sufficient power. What am i overlooking? I need to get this car up and running asap so my girl can get to work. Thank you in advance.
To add: There is oil dripping off the bottom of the distributor cap, and i can smell fuel pretty strong in my garage.
