Default Transmission/axle issue?

I changed out the transmission and engine on my 05 civic ex. Manual transmission. The first time i pulled out of the driveway the transmission spit the passenger side axle out. Tried putting it back in but wouldnt go, so i went and got another one. That one wouldn't go in either, so after some online research i grabbed an appropriate sized socket, took a 2 lb hammer and tapped it in. After that i i ok a test drive and noticed a slight grind when i turned left. But only when i turned left. Been driving it fir 2 and a half months and the grinding has gotten worse. Just bought another axle, put it in, and yep, the grinding is still there. Looking at my old and like new transmission the number on it is different. Old one is P5b, and the one in the car is b6b. Does that mean they are different transmissions, and if yes, do i need a different axle for the passenger side? Driver side axle slide right in like normal, never hear anything out of it. And the new axle i just put in, i did have to tap in with a hammer.
