Default Need help with igntion marion, virginia

I live in marion va.i have a 2006 honda odyssey. I have been broke down in my driveway for almost 2 weeks. My key wouldn't turn in my ignition(key is very very worn). So I called a "mobile mechanic " to come to me. He was very sketchy. Took out my whole igntion and my air bag out of my steering wheel for some reason. Couldn't figure out how to get the ignition lock cylinder out. Sat in my driveway for 2 hours watching "how to" youtube videos(I could have done this myself). Here it is 7pm. I say he can just come back tomorrow and finish. He never came back. Wasted 4 hours of my time and I paid him an extra 120 dollars to drive 100 miles to me. Also paid him 350 for doing absolutely nothing but taking half the part off. I have the new igntion switch. Before all of this I called and called everywhere looking for a locksmith. There is nobody in my area that does anything with igntions. My driveway is very narrow and curvy on a hill. Almost sure a tow truck can't get down to my car. I feel like I am screwed. Any advice would be lovely I am literally to the point where I'd give someone my whole paycheck to just come fix it!

If I'm not mistaken, your car may have immobilizer. When you put the key in the ignition, does the "GREEN KEY" light come on at the instrument cluster and stay on? If so, it's not reading the key any more. The culprit is usually the ring immobilizer,.
