Engine keeps throwing knock sensor code, sometimes misfire code on cylinder one. But not always, have replaced the knock sensor multiple times. I've read threads and information on direct wiring to the ECU to solve low voltage problems. If I'm running on the highway with the engine under load it doesn't have an issue. Just not sure as to the root cause of the issue haven't checked injector yet to see if any clog or overspray to cause excess detonation. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, who might have some insight or could direct me to a thread where info could be found.

 

A while back maybe 2 months there was a thread on this issue. I tried to find it however i could not locate it.
It showed how to diagnose the issue and how your alternator could be causing it do to a bad diode or something. If i where you i would try and find the thread.
edit it was for a cam position sensor not the knock sensor. It was by jr miller just found it.
