Hello everyone. I have a 98 crv with 191k on it! Still going strong and very loved! i traded a 2003 caravan for it about 4 months ago. since i got it i noticed the battery light comes on intermittently. the only thing I think MIGHT trigger it is hitting the brakes. Its hard to diag because the light doesn't stay on long. I have a real time reader that tells me when the light initially goes on it drops to 12.5v or so then slowly restores to 14.7ish. Before it got it the alternator was just replaced (doubtful it was OEM alt). I also found the negative terminal loose, so tighten that as it should be. Still having issues. runs and drives perfect. I don't want to replace the alt if I'm not sure that's the issue, it isn't cheap. thinking of trying the ELD and seeing what is does but figured i might try a shot at asking you all! i will also add that the AC compressor only intermittently activates (planned to swap it), thought maybe that could be an issue with low voltage or something?
