Default What wire is this?

Hey, folks. 1995 Civic VX. See this black double wire that my thumb is touching? One of those is connected to a kill switch. What do those 2 wires go to? The kill switch was cut into one of them.
The brown connector connects to a box just above the hood latch release lever.
The fuel pump primes and the starter turns over, so I suspect it's ignition but can't check if the spark plugs are firing right now.

You should list year and model of vehicle.

That is the connector for the main relay. The black wire is the ground wire.

Ok, put the year and model in the first post, thanks.
The main relay controls the fuel pump and fuel injection, right? My issue is no spark, so I think I'm going to work my way backwards from the spark plugs.

A concern with the PGM FI relay is that this site says that terminal 6 should have 10-12 volts going through it.

However, mine shows 9.2 - 9.5. The following site says that's the voltage in from the ignition switch. The fuel pump primes and the engine cranks over, so I'm assuming it's fine.

For now I'm going to focus on trying to get spark back. If the car starts, then no worries. Otherwise, I'm going to look into terminal 6's voltage and see what that affects.

reconnect the 2 cut black wires and you should be good to go.

-- Strip insulation of black wires
-- Put wires together
-- Solder connection
-- Cover with heatshrink tubing

Turned out it was the distributor. It wasn't getting spark. Power was going into the distributor via the black/yellow stripe wire, but spark wasn't leaving the distributor. Thanks for the help, yall.
