kill switch wire
im going to install a kill switch on my car. i know that if you disconnect both plugs on the distributor, the motor turns over but theres no spark. which wire can i splice into to install a toggle switch that will let the distributor ignite or not?
if anyone has a better idea on which wire to splice(starter, ignition, etc), or has done their own custom kill switch, let me know how you did it, thx. check my sig for the car info.

Trace down the power to the fuel pump, and wire a hidden switch to that. No fuel, the car ain't driving very far. And it saves the issue of ECU reset if you killed power to the ecu. This will work because its a tank mounted electric fuel pump. Tap in somewhere after the fuse.
for the fuel pump cut-off, its the solid yellow wire. Check it out. You can get to it by removing the screws on the locking box and looking underneath. There's gonna be 4 wires i think. Just cut the Solid yellow wire and splice a toggle switch or another form of on/off switch in-line with it. Its mad easy and only takes a 1/2 hour and some creativity.
