Strut tower brace not lining up
I just installed all new coil overs in a 98 hatchback.
I bought the car recently and it has a bunch of suspension mods front amd rear. After I adjusted the height on the rear shocks I find there is a quarter inch difference in height between the left and right going by space between the tire and fender even though I adjusted exactly the same space on the adjustable skunk2 coil overs. Also the damn tower brace is a quarter inch out and holes won’t line up.
mu question is what did I do wrong ? Should I take it all apart and try again with the car jacked or on the ground or is it possible something got out of line somewhere ? Install was pretty easy and everything looked right but looking for help to see if other people have had this happen.
is there an order of tightening everything down or put the brace on first and then tighten all the other bolts after?

Are you talking front or rear strut tower brace?
Also did you load the struts before torqueing the strut bolts on the lower arms? The bushings are "clocked" this way and they may be causing the strut to not sit at the proper level as well as you may be close to ripping a bushing. You could potentially have a worn ripped bushing that it spun to correct position and the other not and is stressed right now.
Do the top bolts look the same on both sides? By that I mean do the tower end bolts look to have the same height on both passenger and driver side? If not maybe your hat isn't situated correctly.
These are the initial things that came to mind.
