The car is a 1990 Honda Civic EF STD model.


What do all these numbers mean? Rz-0062 is the part number but what's the other stuff mean? I'm trying to find a replacement for this relay but they're discontinued. I can connect it to another 4 pin relay but I'd like to know how many amps and stuff this relay is. I checked a few wiring diagrams but I can't find one for this specific car.

 

It isn't a relay. It is a noise suppressor (discontinued).

 

Some of the other stuff likely are the value of the inductor (coil), and that there are two coils of the same value inside.




For the noise suppressor, one coil is for the ground and the other coil is for the power to the condenser fan motor.

The main issue I'm having and why I'm thinking it's bad is the radiator fan doesn't come on without turning the AC or heater on. AC keeps short cycling for whatever reason and it turns both my fans off at the same time and it's leading to the car overheating.

 

Did you ever find a replacement? Any luck with new aftermarket? Thanks!

 

I ended up just buying a used one from Ebay.
