Default 2003 Honda Accord EX (3.0l, v6) - No Crank, No Start

Good afternoon,

I’m hoping someone can lead me in the write direction to save my non-mechanic self a headache and save my wallet from going hungry..

I went to pull away from the gas station after getting gas, and as I rolled up my window, the car died. Long story short, I had to tow it home and replace the alternator.

Next morning I’m going to get breakfast with my sister and niece. She starts the car, it immediately stalls two seconds later. Unsure if there was any kind of noise when the car stalled, I was inside the house grabbing shoes for my niece. She tries to start the car, no crank no start.

Starter just sounded like it was just whining and spinning but not kicking out the gear shaft (or whatever it’s called, I’m not good with terms), so we replaced the starter with a brand new one. Went to start the car, and the same issue. Starter whines, spins, but no crank no start.

I have to assume it’s not an issue with the starter itself because it’s brand new, but I know that it could be.
I tried switch the starter relay with another to see what would happen, and nothing changed so I assume the relay is good.

What are some key things that could cause it, and how would I test those things? I know a couple are voltage checks, check the flywheel, check timing belt, etc.

I’ll take a video after I post this of what the car sounds like when I try to start it and post it.

No lights flickering, no battery issues? I could be that the gear in the engine that grabs on to the starter gear is chipped or worn, could be the gear on the starter busted. A mechanic would need to look inside to check.
