None of the features working after bring it to honda.
So I've been having this problem with my 2018 honda accord hybrid touring. During the winter months when I first got the car, when it's too cold, the lights and turn signals didn't work. To fix that I would have to leave the car off for 5 mins and it would work again. There seemed to be a new software program that was supposed to fix that. So I updated that and from that day on the lights always worked but came a new problem. Instead of the lights, the car now won't even turn on. So I had to do the same thing again. Wait in the car with the car off for 5 mins and turn it back on. But the other day, I opened my windows and turned off my car and put the car on just for audio for 15 mins , after I wanted to turn up my windows, but the car wouldn't start or pull up the windows. The car still had gas and battery. I called up roadside assistance and they sent someone to boost my car and the car started up. I then called honda and they said I still have 1 outstanding update for the wireless remote. So I brought the car to the dealership and they said they were going to update my software and test to see if there were problems with my battery. After a hour and a half they came to me and said there's a problem. The battery is good but the keyless entry didn't work anymore also the push button start. You can unlock the car with the physical key and you need to start the car by pressing the start button with the key. I told the honda supervisor that the car was working fine when I brought it in but now after the update it dosent work right. The honda manager then told me he didn't even get a chance to update the car because the car said it was off. But in my head I'm thinking either he fried something while checking my battery or they updated my software and it messed up the car and telling me they didn't do it. Honda wants me to pay for a diagnostic test to see what the problem is out of my own pocket due to me being over my warranty by 10k km. While driving my car home I noticed that other thing didn't work on my car too. My door lock, heads up display isn't working, my gas lid won't open, my trunk won't open, my lane assist dosent work, wireless remote start dosent work. Nothing on my key fob works. Dose anybody have had this problem? Also do you think I should have to pay due to honda messing up my car.
Just skimmed through but would be interesting to check the 10a "back-up fuse" that will sometimes pop when the battery is jumped, especially if they use a "battery saver" when they jump it. Believe it's under the hood, should have a box surrounding the position on the fuse panel lid
