Ported f20b head and intake manifold
Looking for a f or h series block if anyone has one they want to get rid of. Going to mill the head .030, Delta 272 grind, supertech valve springs, tri y header, e85 tune, 1000cc injector. Hoping to get a f20b block in good condition, kaizen B's block off and shim the pump. I deber the inside of the block and cylinder head to improve efficiency and remove excess weight like a wrc engine. Sure it's a lot of work but I love it.
Hoping to test this manifold on a boosted h22. Like to compare anything to it, skunk2, Euro r, k2h, stock...hit me up.
Still working on the intake manifold. I welded the midplate to the one on the left and went as big as I could go and changed the pitch. The welded the iacv and other ports flush, still in the works.
Here's a y8 Mani I'm porting for a engine I built. The y8 and p13 intake manifold are very similar in design. Runner dividers are concaved on the y8 I'm not going to cut them to the floor.
I'm going to grind the welds flush on the underside along with the nodules for the bracket. If your going to machine the intake dividers out of the lower plenum you have to weld the underside. Also anything over a 68mm tb and the tb air bypass will thin out and fail, that area will need some support if you want to go 70mm plus.
Still working on it
Upper f20b plenum
Welded port, 74mm yes please.
Started deburing the casting flaws to keep the oil where it's needed on the rocker arms and cams. Quick carbide bit then sanding cone doesn't take much time to get rid of the ugly.
Might go with 2 68mm throttle bodys and 220 adapter plate for the upper plenum with 2 velocity stacks sticking out of the hood. That way you can tune the upper plenum very easily..length and degree of piping, diameter, etc....and it's affordable. Custom upper plenum with 90mm throttle body is set in stone. Unless you want your car looking like a tank with a huge velocity stack and daily drive it.
