1990 Accord EX - Oxygen Sensor (Code 1)
I have been working my way through the car cleaning up issues and I am now on to the Oxygen Sensor. When I got the car the previous owner told be the sensor was not hooked up and just needed to be plugged in. Not to my surprise, when I crawled underneath to hook it up, the harness side plug was missing and there were 4 wires with the terminals still attached. Tried digging around the internet for a plug pinout or a definitive picture showing how it should be wired to no avail. I went to my local you-pull-it and found a 91 with the harness and it was even in the same location. I noted what wires went where, then cut the pieces I needed and headed home. Once home I de-pinned the connector I needed and hooked the 4 wires, on my car, in to the pin holes where, I thought, they should have went.
Now I must have done something right because this cleared my CODE 41 (Oxygen Sensor Heater) but generated a new one CODE 1 (Oxygen Sensor)
Before we get into the serious troubleshooting steps I was wondering if anyone had a diagram showing what wire goes to what pin in the harness side plug? I found some on a google search but the were black and white and did not tell you which side of the plug the picture is looking at. I want to make sure I have the wiring correct before getting into the hardcore stuff.
Thanks
Kyle
