Default A/c line freezing have pressure switch question

I’m sorry if this is in the wrong place, I’m still new to these forums and am finding my way around.

I have a 2007 Honda Civic lx coupe, I’ve had it a few weeks now and I’ve had to replace quite a bit trying to make it a dependable daily drive, I’m really considering cutting my losses and selling it to find something else but I really like the car.. anyway, I’ve replaced the Mode Control motor, the blower motor/fan, the climate control unit, all the relays and fuses and that seems to have fixed some of my issues however, now I have notice my a/c line freezing up. The a/c blows cold and I only drive the car to and from work for about 20 minutes rash way. I recently started smelling Freon in the cabin and I’ve determined that it’s my a/c pressure switch. My question is, to replace the switch do I have to vacuum the Freon and have it refilled? Or can I just quickly remove and replace it and then fill it with a can of Freon from the auto parts store?
