Dual A/C Pressure Switch Removal
Does anyone know how to replace this switch? I was able to get the plug off but can't seem to get off the switch. Is it a lefty-loosy deal or a pull and tug deal, I don't want to break the sensor out of it's holding and have to replace a line? There is an octagon bolt desing maybe 24mm where the sensor is plugged into.
But, it doesn't appear to turn, looks like it is welded to the high pressure line. Thanks. I am replacing it because my compressor went bad and I had finally got the compressor back on and evacuated the system, filled with freon. It got down to 53 degrees, then started climbing back up, looked under the hood and it was leaking freon thru the dual pressure switch.

k, thanks, I tried to buy just the switch, but it looks like they can't get it out either, so they are just sneding me the line with it attached already.

A little wd40 and it screwed right off. I didn't have a 15/16 wrench, so I just used vise grips.
