In my 93 Honda del sol I was trying to install a kill switch and there was this bit of metal poking out and a spark happened and now the fuel pump doesn't start, I disconnected the wires I had spliced into it and tried reconnecting the 2 ends back together but still no fuel pump click or hum, Where does this wire lead to and Is there a fuse for this black and yellow wire or am I going have to replace this wire/pigtail?
I don't see the harness connector to the main relay plugged in; so, the Blk/Yel wire is probably the wire coming from the under-dash Fuse No. 24 (15A), which provides power to the Gauge assembly, Cruise control, Vehicle speed sensor (VSS),PGM-FI main relay, SRS unit, and Charging system.
I disconnected the harness so I could take the picture of the wire, You think the fuse is what's making it not get power? I checked that cable through the harness and its getting no power when the key is in ignition. It usually does and its what sends the signal to the fuel pump to prime it.
