battery Question (quickie)
the battery charges while a car is running and the alternator is functioning properly. the cells in your battery have probably just worn out. go buy a new battery
The Battery Light will come on if the Alternator isnt charging. It will not come on if your battery is stuffed so the only way to tell is if you test it or change it. There is no point buying a new battery and it still dosnt charge...
yes PDU-Nz is right get your battery checked and then I would go for the altinator and see whats up with that. Do you have a stereo sysyem that requires high voltage? Sorry I'm Drunk.
Why are you drunk and posting? Don't you have better things/people to do?
Anyways, go to sears or something and have them load test your battery. Also check your alternator belt tension as a slipping belt will glaze over time and only give you a fraction of its rated output. You can hear it chirping while trying to charge but you may not hear it due to exhaust+stereo and all the other stuff
