Default Rpm drops and engine throttles after releasing gas crv 2006

I have a crv 2006 sound cruiser...

I had the engine valve kit replaced years ago and had the serpentine belt replaced at the same time...

It was running very well after the repair but For only a few days... all of a sudden while driving, i heard a loud ticking sound and there was a burning smell. It disappeared when I turned the ac off...

I went back to the repair shop. They did something and said there's just something stuck in the blower...
Since then, the car was running poorly and the fuel consumption is high... So I had the tensioner replaced. Still, the car was not running as efficient as it was after the repair..

A year later, i had the ac fan replaced and the tech added some refrigerant because the pressure was too low... The ac was not as cold after that.... So I decided to have the ac cleaned at a honda service center... When I got the car, and drove it out, the engine throttled everytime I release the gas... they reduced the refrigerant pressure and the throttle was not as severe after that...

After a few months, the compressor gave in and produced a loud sound.. and again the engine throttled when I release the gas... To the point where it almost went to 0rpm.

Now, I just had the compressor, drier and tensioner replaced and had the condenser flushed... the ac is producing cold air but still the engine throttles a little when gas is released.. could this be an issue with engine compression? It started a few days after the valves were replaced...

So trying to understand this.
When you say "throttled" do you mean the engine RPM is dropping close to the engine stalling out?

Did you have all of the valves replaced or adjusted?

Did you have issues with the AC system prior to all this happening?

Is the issue your describing present with the AC off ? ( blower fan OFF )

If the engine is almost stalling with the AC on, its possible that the lines are obstructed causing higher pressure in the AC and the compressor is using power to push refrigerant out. The repair shop can see this on the refrigerant gauges of the AC machine.

I'd agree with you here. It sounds like OP had the classic compressor failure common with these CRVs, and the first shop didn't repair it correctly. From what I've read online, and heard in person is that when these systems let loose, it's better to just replace everything because metal shards/pieces from the compressor go everywhere. You'll never get it all out of the hard to reach places even with a cleaning. You could have something stuck in the evaporator, condenser, expansion valve, etc. and it'll just come back around when you replace the compressor/whatever else causing another premature compressor failure.
