Default AC problems causing engine hesitation

Hey everyone, I just picked up an 05 Honda Accord, 2.4 motor, 36,000 miles. I noticed when I drove the car on the test drive, that the engine seemed to hesitate while driving. Anyway, I realized the air conditioning was on so I figured I would shut it down to see if turning the AC off would help stop the hesitation; sure enough it stopped the hesitating. Now, I know an AC is going to have a bit of a power draw on a 2.4L motor, but this draw seems more intense than usual. The car cannot idle at all without almost stalling. Anyway, today when I turned the AC on to try and diagnose the problem further, the engine was really bucking bad, and dramatically idling the engine's RPMs up and down. I then saw a mist of freon (so I believe) come out of from the front drivers side hood of the car. I then turned off the AC. Now, I am assuming there is some sort of vacuum leak or freon leak, or maybe a bad compressor. Whatever it is, the problem hurts the performance and efficiency of the AC and the engine. I just purchased a warranty through Honda yesterday...so I would think I am covered, but shouldn't I be complaining to the the dealership who JUST sold me the car, and told me that the hesitation from the AC I was experiencing was just a "Honda thing"? Also, has anyone else experienced similar woes?

Thanks!
