I am new to the Honda scene. Just acquired a 2011 Civic DX. Decided to put 17x7.5 +35 offset rims and 235/40 tires on. Very happy with the look. The wheel offset is flush with the body. This is problematic when I have the slightest bump. The wheels dampen into the fender on stock suspension. There is not much of an inner lip to “roll” out of the way. The car has 100k miles. Just ordered new KYB struts and shocks (OEM length) all around. Will this help or should I be looking for other ways to correct this? I don’t really want to add spring spacers to raise the ride height if I can help it.
