Default 91 SI toubo

Hey guys and gals I'm new to this, anyways I would like to know if I could put a turbo on my 91 Honda Civic SI 1.6 L non VTEC , and if I do what damage will that do to my engine.

Yes, and it could potentially destroy the engine if not done properly. Any other questions?

So the engine that I have in there right now is a zc 1.6 L non VTEC, what will be the best motor to put in this

The "best" engine is HIGHLY subjective. Everyone has their favorites..

That is a reasonably understanding answer, I was thinking of putting a B series in there maybe a B18 what modifications do I need to make on this vehicle to get it to work right

Yes, you can do a turbo set up on that engine as long as it has good compression (do a compression test of the cylinders), and a leak down test. As long as it is in good condition, isn't burning oil/coolant, or knocking, the engine should handle up to about 220 horsepower. The easiest way to do it is use a pre-fabricated turbo kit. Make sure you have something to tune for extra fuel while boosting, then no damage should occur.
If you don't set it up correct, the engine could be ruined, however it's not too difficult. Or, just have a shop do the engine tests, turbo kit install, and fuel system tuning if you aren't capable yourself.
