Ok i just made an account here so forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask. I have a 1997 prelude auto base. Just did a jdm s-spec h22 and m2z4 manual tranny swap. Problem is the ecu harness that came with the engine has some of the wires cut so i need to find a full diagram of this harness so i can splice new connectors to it but cant find anything online... i know i know, i should have used the old harness on the engine, why am i even f*cking around with the jdm harness? Well i didn't know i needed to do that or get a conversion harness for the engine.. so being low on funds im stuck trying to make the jdm harness work since the engines already dropped in and the old harness got sold with the previous engine (oops) im gonna be using the ecu that came with the jdm h22 i bought, i just need to know the complete wire diagram for this sh*t to make it all work....

 

You need the old engine harness... or one just like it. It is extremely challenging to make a RHD JDM engine harness work in a USDM chassis... and you will need a Honda ETM for both a USDM and a JDM 5G Prelude.

Unfortunately, you have broken one of the Cardinal rules of engine swapping: Never sell ANY of the old parts until the swap is complete.

 

I think it would be easier if you went to pick and pull got a us harness of your year to be safe, p28/obd2a to obd1 jumper harness. Obd1 dizzy with speed factory or rywire external ignition,cps,cks bypass jumper harness and called it a day. Your going to have to extend wires but honestly I just helped my nephs and that’s all we did. Ddnt even have to wire an resistor box as a lot of people mention. Don’t go forget all the grounds
