Default 95 Lude F22B JDM Swap

I know this has been covered several times, but had my F22A1 die, picked up an F22B JDM DOHC engine to swap in, currently going to just mate it to my M2L5, now the issue I'm looking at is the ECU is not going to work obviously, I'm hoping someone can point me to a good, reliable and cheap source for one that would work without too much hassle. I'd like to get one that's chipped just for future modifications, but I'm just focusing on getting it running again for now.

not really point to get that engine modded in future

but you probably need chipped P28, contact your local tuner to know what software hes using etc

I'm already looking into options for both chipped and unchipped ECUs that would work, the problem is finding something that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg to get it running while still being a legit ECU instead of a fake. I was hoping someone could point me to a place to pick up something cheap that's used.

I bet a non-vtec H23 ECU would run it fine.

Ross is correct. H23A1(P14) ecu will run it close to perfect. The engines are extremely similar.

I'm aware a P14 would work, as well as any chipped P06, P28, P30, P72, P75 or PR4. Again, my issue is finding one that isn't a fake. Hoping someone can point me in the direction of one to buy, not just letting me know what would work.

If you must have a chipped ECU, xenocron or phearable are reputable and typically have them in stock. They will also include a basemap so you can get the car started to check for leaks prior to getting tuned. Basemaps are not for driving on. With a chipped ECU, a tune will be required for optimal results.
