2014 1.8 L Civic
Two or three questions of which I need feedback. Been using dealership for oil changes since I purchased the vehicle and now they have had a major price increase. I have been using the 0W-20 oil and changing every 5500 - 6000 miles. What is a good brand to change over to these days? I have 110,000 miles. What about filters for this 1.8L?
I have shoes on the rear of the vehicle about how many miles can you get out of the shoes and when they are ready for replacement what else will be involved on this rear drum/shoes?

I have a 2012 Civic with the 1.8L engine. I used every possible brand of 0w20 that I could find on sale throughout the car's life, same goes for filters. Whatever was on sale.
My car has over 230,000kms on it, and it still has the original factory rear brake shoes. I've had the brakes inspected and serviced 3 times since new (most recently at 190,000kms), and each time they've told me that the rear brakes only needed a cleaning and that the shoes weren't near the point of needing replaced.
