you'll only want a 3" catback (or 2.5" at minimum) for a turbo or supercharged application.
2.25 is plenty large for a N/A application. For turbo go 3"

apex new gt-r exhaust 3.25 inch diameter!!!!
depending on your HP goals it will tell you what size u need. if your going street and boosting low than 2.5 is fine. Im running a 3inch right now and its so loud. Its a thermal.
