Default EF GSR SWAP REAR T BRACKET

When doing a gsr swap into a 1990 ef hatch do I need to have the DA t bracket for the rear mount? What options are there? Currently I think I have a DC rear bracket from when I bought the car with the swap already in it. The bracket is not bolted up to the bottom of the trans but it is has one bolt holding it at the top of the trans

You need the DA bracket and you need to enlarge the holes in it in a few places. I just sold a modified T-bracket that would have fit your setup perfectly.
Or better yet, ditch that hydro tranny and get a good quality GSR cable transmission from car-part.com and save yourself all of the headaches of going cable to hydro.
Either way you need a DA bracket.

SolAssassin will I also need the rear engine mount from a DA integra or will any b series rear engine mount work? I already have the driver side mount and trans mount.

You need custom mounts from Hasport or another manufacturer. There's no OE setup that works. You'll also need a DA post mount on the engine.

There's a sticky at the top of this subforum that tells you everything you need to do the swap.

Hasport also offers a rear "T" bracket that essentially replaces the DA bracket and is already modified to fit the larger bolts that attach the bracket to a hydro transmission if you use one.

Thanks JRcivic1 I have looked into those options but I am going to go the cheaper route and just get the oem DA bracket from eBay and just buy the aftermarket rear mount as I already have the after market driver and passenger mount

The DA bracket on eBay might be cheaper but it's a major PITA to drill out those holes to fit a hydro tranny. If that bracket from Hasport existed back when I modified mine, I would have never taken the OEM route.

Then again, I would have never dropped in a hydro tranny in the first place knowing what I know now. I went as far as to pull the entire swap out of my car just to replace my S4C with a YS1 out of a GSR because of all of the other headaches involving going cable to hydro.

That being said I think I might just go with the hasport rear bracket and rear mount then. Also I’m currently still only going to be running a cable trans. I’m not gonna go hydro unless I convert the whole car from inside dash harness to all the lights and engine harness to obd1. That’s more of a future project

In that case, get the OEM bracket. Your first post mentioned that you have a DC bracket that came with the swap. I was under the impression you had a hydro trans. I didn't realize you already have a cable trans.
With the cable trans, you will not need to drill out the DA bracket

Ok, then do I use 19mm bolts for the rear bracket?

Use the factory bolt sizes as mentioned in the Acura parts website
