Hey guys, sooooooo my 93 civic eg D15B is having real bad fuel consumption, i run out of gas very fast and there’s times when it gets too low that it will cut out while driving (due to low gas) but I’ll be able to switch it back on and get it home (just) checked o2, checked fuel lines, spark plugs, air filter, fuel pump fine, Fuel filter good

theres one odd thing that happens, I tested the fuel injector wire sensor thinges (please correct hahahahah) and I’ve seen that it says the correct Volts are supposed to be at 12 well mine are at 9-8

anyways I would appreciate if someone would help me out, thanks for ya time

 

D15B7, D15B8 or JDM D15B?

What trim is your 93. Do you know what ECU is in it. Have you tested the ECT sensor? I believe to test injectors it's an ohm test on the injector itself and a NOID light test for the pulse signal to the injector.

 

When you say the fuel pump is "fine", do you mean you tested it while driving and it's getting 40 psi and staying properly high while driving, or do you mean "fine" as in, you can hear it? what was the pressure showing if you tested it?

If the voltage is off, you could have a relay issue, a poor ground from the injectors, or bad alternator/battery going on.
