New to jdm please help

Default New to jdm please help

I bought a 98 civic with d16 1.6l manifolds cracked i with to switch to header but every thing i keep running across is stating its for a different model engine... does anybody know what will cross fit so I can try and widing my search

In 98, I believe there are multiple D16 engines offered, which might be the issue. there was a D16Y7, Y8, and Y5 (and maybe others). I only know mine, which is the Y8, producing 127 HP and came in the EX. The Y7 I think was 106 horses or so and came in the LX, for example.

You need to find out the exact engine code. It's stamped on the block.
