quick Q about rocker shaft...
does it need to spin freely when its installed.. i found an imperfection in the P&P.. i beleive this might be a common one.
the shaftgoes in smoothly until i hit this "imperfection" then i have to push hard. its on the intake and exhaust both. would i need to have this thing sanded down. or is it ok cuz the shaft doesnt move.
thanx

alaniz tech did it...
when i slide it through.. it wont "spin"..
doesnt the rocker shaft have oil spouts or somthing. i oiled the rocker shaft and it made it easier to go in.
edit: think i may have answered my own Q. thats what the oil orfices (or whatever they are called) are used for. they line up with the hole on the shaft so the shaft doesnt move..

Make sure you put the pins in that lock the rocker shaft from spinning. BTW, the pins are side specific.
