My block is done? Now here's the Q...
Q: I paid my friend 3Gs to rebuild my block and I believe he said my block will have: Golden eagle sleeve, micro polish, blue print, balancing crank, aftermarket pistons, rings, rods bearings etc. It has been almost 3 weeks since he took my B20 block and sent it out to do the jobs. Today he called me and told me that the block is done sleeving and some other stuff and told me to go over tomorrow to check it out. Now, how do I know if the block was actually done with all those things? Are there any pix or websites I can go check out some BEFORE/AFTER pix of a block being done? I just don't want to get ripped off that's all. Is there any way to tell if it's done or untouched etc.
Thanks!
Thanks!

1-he dosnt seem like a good friend if you cant trust him
2-know where your money is going before you just spend it foolishly
3-tell him you want reciepts of every part in the block and you want papers for any machine work.
4-learn to do your own work its cheaper and you cant rip your self off(well you can but its alot easier to blame your self for screwing up then somebody else)

Yeah, I would like to know as well. Yeah we can all put the Crank on, and the rods, and the pistons. But hell no i dont know how to bore and machine and install sleeves, and balance and blueprint. I think its easier by a pro.
