That's the thing... My car's an EG4, with a D15B engine, so my exhaust looks a bit different from what the diagram muellersfan posted shows... But anyway, I'll check the exhaust. Thanks!!
Yes, it bolts to the block using the lower 2 holes of the manifold/harness bracket.
Y8 didn't come in an 'eg' though.
It's also on almost every 92-95. Same spot, goes from the IM to Block bracket down to the two bolt holes on the stock exaust whether it's the 2-1 D16Z6 pipe or the single pipe of the D15B7/B8/Z1.
I haven't owned an EG, only EJ8 and EJ6. Thought OP might be swapping a D16Y8 into the EG.
You should get one before it's too late.

yep, sure did. but you only mentioned one motor, so, still added additional info to it.
I only mentioned one engine because the OP does not have a US spec chassis with any of the engines you mentioned. The engine does not matter when the location of the bracket had already been identified.
Why didn't you identify the irrelevant D15B2 and D15B8 that also comes in 92-95 US models? Did you forget about them too?

The VEi EG4 has a D15Z1 engine, which was clearly mentioned by TomCat.
