I have a Honda civc 2013 that is displaying Check brake system, check power steering, check VSA and check ABS all at once. I scanned the vehicle and I received no codes. I did have a pending code P0128 but thats pending and I don't think It has anything to do with this problem. I haven't been able to find anything online that was helpful. I checked the fuses and they looked great, I checked the spark plugs and they looked great, I had the alternator tested along with the battery and they tested fine. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what is wrong? The car only has 70k on it.

 

Not all OBD code readers/scanners are capable of reading Honda ABS, VSA, and EPS trouble codes. Do you know if the code reader you're using have that capability?

 

Im currently using this one, Im not sure it if does do that now. Im looking at the manual but it doesn't say anything. So I assume maybe I need to borrow a better one.

Thanks for the advice I will have to go to a mechanic on Monday probably and see if he can read those. Someone mentioned it could be a filter in the brake master cylinder causing this. TBH I didn't even know it had a filter.

 

UPDATE: The VSA module has a short in it, the part from honda is 650 and the labor is 150.
