Default Over tightened pressure plate bolts

So im leaning towards new pressure plate bolts though i dont have much money left from swapping my engine and transmission i had trouble aligning my clutch but i finally got it properly aligned but i must've removed and retorque my pressure plate bolts about 4 times with loctite the 3rd and 4th time 19 foot pounds of torque wouldn't flush the pressure plate bolts mybe due to old loctite being on the bolts after cleaning them the best i could so I tightened them as tight as i could they could be anywhere from 25ft pounds to 50ft pounds would it be to risky to run these could i have weakened the pressure plate bolts after torquing them so many times?

You should pull them out and use a wire brush to clean the bolt threads, and then use a wire bolt hole brush to clean out the bolt holes on all six.

Those bolts only need 16 ft-lbs of torque without loctite. Those bolts don't tend to back out or they would require a little more to get effective thread stretch. I only use loctite on the flywheel bolts. Even then the FSM doesn't call for it on either set of bolts. I always use a torque wrench and never had issues. Just started using loctite blue on the flywheel for added peace of mind.

The uneven torque pressure will likely be a greater problem for you in the long run.

I would err on the side of caution and replace the bolts since you over-torqued them by that much. Run a tap through the flywheel to get rid of any Loctite residue. Install the new bolts dry.

I appreciate your reply i took bolts out of a civic i have in the yard their the same bolts but i wasn't able to get a torque wrench until a later time so i kinda overtorqued those to like an idiot and than got paranoid about them so I took those back out got the torque wrench and retorqued them to proper spec with loctite and put the tranny back on for the 3rd time i know i shouldve bought new bolts but i don't have money right now and i don't think i can get my friends to help me slap the tranny on a 4th time their already fed up with dropping it and putting it back up. Do you think I'll be alright? I didn't go crazy with the over torquing i got it as tight as i could without going any further..

You should be fine, they are hardened steel bolts. If you didn't reef the snot out of this set AND you cleaned up the bolt holes from your previous loctite frenzy AND you only torqued them down to the FSM 16 ft-lbs in the criss cross pattern, you should be just fine.

I took a bolt from the old set of pressure plate bolts and simulated how i tightened the bolts the first couple times which was done with a hand wrench ( i did this on the civic which already has a bad clutch) than i took a torque wrench and set it to 30 lbs and torqued the bolt i wasn't even close to 30lbs i was probably at mybe 25 ft pounds with all those bolts
on top of that i measured the pressure plate bolt before and after 30 ft pounds and it was the same length idk if that's how it actually works I also put a flat object to the the threads and the peaks of the threads are still level and this is a bolt i torqued 4 times I know all this could just be avoided buying new bolts but i start at a new job monday and money's running low
Btw i didnt clean the bolt holes i cleaned the bolts though and the bolt turned in the flywheel hole without much resistance at all so i figure itll be fine
I've settled with it ill check on the bolts through the starter hole from time to time ..

Yeah car information always helps. I work on 5th gen civics so that's where I tend to quote from.
