Wiring harness tests.
2005 civic DX coupe 5 speed.
Backstory.
I blew my rear main seal. I pulled the engine and tranny. Resealed the entire engine. New head gasket. Timing belt kit.
Noticed the altinator bearing was shot so I picked up a whole new altinator.
Reinstalled everything. Drove around for a couple days. Ran great!
Turns out I didnt tighten the the altinator down properly. Revved it up to have some fun and... BOOM! limp mode. The lack of ground to the altinator over charged and fried my ecu...🥺
So while my ecu is out of the car and I have the wire harness plugs exposed I was told there could be a procedure to test the wireharness and all the engine sensors with a multi meter from the plugs.
Does anyone have or know the procedure or have a cheat sheet for this?
I've been looking with no luck.
thanks team
