Replace your brake fluid with high temp (motul 600 or similar)
Get a set of track pads
Fresh oil change
Make sure your coolant system is capable of 20+ minutes of full thrash
Turn the boost down until you are comfortable with the car on the limit, "doing a pull" isn't the same as 20-25 minute sessions of giving it hell. (if boost isn't setup to build in a linear fashion it can unsettle the car on exit so be weary of your throttle inputs on the edge of adhesion)
There are plenty more things to look for but just make sure in general the car is free of leaks and mechanically sound (check wheel bearings and wheel studs/lugs).

What is your current cooling setup and where are you located?
A half rad with good ducting will struggle to keep the car cool at just about any temp, especially above 65 degrees. I know this, I did one warm track day on a half rad back in the day and quickly upgraded.
With a good tune the engine will be just fine as long as your cooling is up to the challenge. I run 10psi on a stock B16 making 305hp all day long at temps above 80-90 degrees. This is with a ducted full radiator, oil cooler, hood vent, thermal wrap on all engine bay turbo components and a boxed in intake.
