potential horsepower from a stock gsr with a turbo?
I want to turbo my gsr motor, and am getting mixed opinions on how much power i could get with a reliable turbo setup. Im talking about stock internals, and just want to run a good amount of boost without worryiing about blowing it in 1k miles. A guy at a shop told me i could get 300+ hp (wheel or motor i forgt), abut people say thats bs.. while being reliable...

Re: potential horsepower from a stock gsr with a turbo?
power depends on turbo size and psi as well as suppourting parts. 300 can be made on stock blocks with a good tune and can be somewhat reliable.
I personally wouldnt go more then 300 on a stock block especially if its your DD even though more has been done.
i ran 275 on my stock b16 on 11psi on a a 50trim turbo for about 2 years before i built the engine
