Default Honda Ignition Wires - OEM no clips and coil

HI everyone, I'm a newbie. I just received replacement OEM ignition wires for my '99 Honda Accord EX-L V6 3.0L. I went with OEM wires because forums such as this and videos online seem to recommend them for superior quality, no-hassle installation (i.e., clips and the entire assembly as part of the purchase price) which seemed like a no-brainer. I expected the wire assembly to come with clips, etc but the ones I got were just the wires with a rubberband holding them together. Also, the ignition set doesn't come with the 7th coil wire, why? It seems like I am spending more and more but not getting what I expect. Are OEM wires supposed to come with the full assembly? And how do I get the OEM coil wire?

Here are the part numbers I ordered for this make/model:

32722-P8A-405 Front
32720-P8A-405 Rear

BACKGROUND:
I have to tune up the car because it misfires on Cylinder 2 and mechanic said that distributor cap/rotor/ignition wires/spark plugs tune up will be $600...and that seemed high for something easy to do yourself. Thanks every one!

I've never ordered OEM before, so I had to go look. But yes, you are right , they list the wires out separately. OEM center wire is https://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuin...3-p8a-a01.html

For reference, typically when purchased at a parts store, most come as a set of wires, not individually.

I guess Honda just sells them differently. Just use the old wire until the new one comes in.

Sounds like you still need a cap and rotor as well. And spark plugs.

Do you know if the OEM should come with the clips? For the back, there should a vertical clip, for the front its a horizontal rail.

It depends on how you ordered the parts.
In your case you can order the wires individually, or in a set, or there was a time you could get the set and the clips.
If you look at the parts diagram you received reference no 18 and 19 for just the cylinder wires.
https://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts-...k_plug_v6.html
What you want is reference no 7 and 8. But 7 and 8 are no longer available.
It appears all the parts to create reference no 8 kit are still available, but for reference No 7 the vertical 'C' clamp, reference no 13, is no longer available.
32722-P8A-405 is what you receive rather than 32722-P8A-A02, and 32720-P8A-405 instead of 3720-P8A-A02

Unless your clips are damaged or missing, just clean up the old ones and reuse them.
