So somehow in the process of putting the engine back in the car I managed to pop the throttle cable off the accelerator pedal in side the cabin. Where does it actually link to? The fsm I have seems to be rather weak on describing the place the cable hooks to

 

Finally figured it out. Unlike the manual pedal set there is a spring loaded hinge on the top of the pedal. Using a screw driver I was able to hold it open while convincing the end of the cable back into the slot
