Default Recommendations needed: Available 2000 F23A1 turbocharger retrofit options?

hey guys, looking at and researching options at the moment to turbo my accord to get a little more power out of it and some more down the road once i beef up the internals and swap in a manual trans, only looking to get about 200 hp for now
i have a t3 turbo nailed down that im going to be getting (has a internal waste gate for 8 psi) and looking at a few front mount inter coolers and piping, just need help with getting a ecu that i can tune for fuel management. im not too keen on running a FMU even at low boost been reading up that if i throw one of them on cant put bigger injectors in otherwise will just flood the cylinders and some post saying there know to wear down motors quickly?. If a FMU would be fine for lower boost for now i may get one just concerned about some of the things i have heard about them.
also in terms of piping for the inter cooler any recommend way to pipe it all or anyone has some photos of a turbo 6th gen so i have something to go off?
going to be getting a intake manifold and going to get a down pipe fabbed up for it and going to be getting the gauges i need and bigger fuel pump and BOV
as i said not looking to put too much boost through it yet only only 5 or 6 psi as the car is my daily driver (that and the snowflake auto trans)
iv also heard putting a cooler on the auto would help it not kick the bucket to early?

(yes this i s my first time turboing a car, have a mechanice friend and some others helping but still want to get some info and guidance so i dont send a rod through my block thank you!)

I would recommend:

1. Convert the car to a manual transmission. I don't know of any tuneable ECU's that can control the automatic transmission.
2. Get an OBD1 ECU and OBD2-to-OBD1 conversion harness and having a Hondata S300 installed, then having the car professionally dyno tuned. In this day and age there is no need to run an FMU.
3. For your charge pipe, I'd have whoever is making your downpipe also make the charge pipe if they can weld aluminum.

i did end up finding a ecu p28 and tuning software (neptune) from a post on another forum that will.work with the auto transmission, keys wise when i throw the p28 in would i have to get keys re programed?

I wasn't aware that Neptune could control an auto ECU. Does your car have an immobilizer? I'm not familiar with what you need to do regarding that.

it does have a immobiliser im pretty sure from what i have heard
also looking into junkyards turbos that would fit on my accord confortably, just trying to find a list of what cars would have them (gotta go to the yard anyways for other parts so i thought may aswell explore this avenue

To my knowledge the P28 will not control the automatic. It simply does not have what is required to run all the extra solenoids, etc the F23 has over the original D series it was intended for, regardless of the tuning software/hardware used.

The only workaround I ever found was using an OBD1 P75 that was originally designed to be used with a separate TCU but that was on a 5g Accord. It does work but there is some fairly involved wiring required. On top of that you will soon find that Honda automatics of that era are trash and the extra torque will kill them extremely quickly. I found this out first hand about 10 years ago. 3 months at "only 200hp" and the transmission was already throwing codes and slipping.

I would recommend doing what you're expecting to do in the opposite order and you will save a lot of money and headache in the long run. Manual swap it first and then turbo it properly. If you are set on staying with the auto, I think you would have better luck with a piggyback or an FMU and some kind of boost reference timing retard setup. Those are things I typically never recommend but in your case it's probably going to be the lesser evil.
