Default Motor mount recommendation and vibration concerns.

I'm currently running yonaka motor mounts. They're affordable and look identical to the Innovative ones. Customer Service says the Yonaka Mounts are 70a. Driving in town my mirrors rattle substantially and all I hear is deep bass from the rattling of my door cards and other interior bits. Hearing accounts of people running innovative mounts at 75a or even 85a a lot of people say the vibration is only noticeable at idle. Or that they barely hear a difference and got used to it right away. Are they really like that? Should I upgrade to Innovative mounts? Would 60a be okay for 300whp?

I tried Yonaka mounts on my stock y7 hatch and I couldn't stand it after about 5 minutes. I decided to just go back to OEM mounts and everything has been right as rain. Of course, mine is a daily, so comfort is everything.

According to the Innovative site, 75A mounts are rated for 250-400 whp. 60A is only rated for 250whp.

I'm running Innovative mounts in mine (75A). It does make the driver front fenders rattle from time to time. lol

Creaks and **** but oh well. Drivability is fine of course.

I purchased them from swapshopracing.com. Their prices are about the best around.

It's weird because with my car the entire car vibrates intensity.

My charge pipe gets in the way of my tranny torque mount.

You will be fine with the 3 main ones, especially when they are aftermarket,....well at least good ones like Innovative or Hasport.

unfortunately thats an internet myth thats been perpetuated throughout the years.

ever see an engine fall out when the block bracket bolts get stripped or fail due to incorrect installation? happens with stock or aftermarket mounts. doesnt matter

plus the tq mounts are crash mounts designed to keep the engine from entering the passenger compartment in the event of an accident

Yes I have. It actually happened to my old motor setup in a Civic hatch. Lesson learned on a stripped engine mount bolt...
