Default Blink code 8

Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum. I just got a1991 CRX Si that has a B16A1 already swapped. The car had sat for the last 11 years, and it won't start. It has blink code 8 (TDC sensor). I replaced the distributor, and it still won't fire up. Any suggestions? HELP!

Test distributor on known good car
Check wiring
Try a different ECU

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone in my area that has a B swapped car. The only thing I can think is the ecu is toast. That being said, I'm not working at the moment and can't afford to get another ecu 😔 So, I guess I'll wait. Thanks for your advise. I'll update when I get another ecu in it.

Ohm test the two TDC sensor wires from the ECU connector.

I think they should ohm out at 350-700 right?

Correct, but also use the Ohm setting to check for a short to ground from each TDC pin in the ECU connector.

There should be minimal ohm resistance on the pins, correct?

You should read infinite resistance, which is typically indicated by the reading 0L on your multimeter.
