What else could cause a Code 9?

What else could cause a Code 9?
Brand new ignitor, rotor, cap...all connections are good.
Engine hard cold starts, shows MIL 9, but it runs really strong. Doesn't miss a beat.
Any ideas? The code reappears each time after resetting, btw.
