Hydraulic Issue or Clutch Itself? Clueless.
Hi all, so I had an issue where it became impossible to get the car into gear. If I pumped it I could get it in gear with a clunk but not smooth. It seemed hydraulic given the change if I pumped it. So I replaced the clutch master and slave cylinder. I bled the system quite a while and now only see new fluid and no air. However, the issue is still there albeit it feels a tiny bit better on and off. Still not trustworthy of driving.
Any ideas? Is it the clutch itself or something internal? It feels like it would if you don't have the clutch all the way pushed in, trying to shift. It's not disengaged all the way. Could pedal adjustment fix it?

Maybe... get someone to push the clutch pedal for you while you LOOK at the slave cylinder and release arm movement. What is the distance traveled when the clutch pedal is moved from all the way out to all the way in ?
I got a rough measurement of around 2.5 inches or so. It doesn’t look like a lot but I’ve never paid attention to how much it moved before so...
Anyone else have any ideas before I take it somewhere to drop the transmission? I don't know if bleeding it more will help, the pedal isn't adjusted right, etc. I've done it all by the book I THINK.
That is a lot of travel... does the pedal feel harder to push as it gets close to the floor ??? Almost like something is in the way or impeding the pedal arm ???
The pedal feel itself is pretty normal feeling. It has always had some play at the top of the travel when pushing the clutch.
