product inquiry :Any k-pro pretune maps to use for start up and test drive?
Hi all,
I am getting close to finally getting the car on the road.
I've swapped a k20 into it, replaced all the suspension and few bits and bobs. It is a rebuilt motor with 0 kilometers on it, clutch new and all.
I'd like to start the car and bleed the coolant, check for leaks, drive the car around the block (under 4k rpm, light load) to give a car a shake down on leaks, slip/bed in the clutch a bit and drive it to the wheel alignment shop.
Just to mitigate any issues that may arise when I go for the full tune.
What "tune" / "config" would be best to use to start up the car, bleed it, and be able to go on light drives under 4k rpm. Off boost.
Will the base maps in kpro suffice or will it be best to get a tuner to whip up a quick config for me to upload?
My concern revolves around the motor not being a stock motor (bigger cams and what not) and the turbo.
Details as follows
K20a2
10:1 comp
4 piston RR3 cams with ivtec and 50VTC
Cnc ported head with stock size valves
RBC manifold
Gtx3076r g1 .82ar external gate
4port
1650cc bosch injectors
Kpro V4 with oem primary o2 and AEM wideband wired into ecu
I'll most likely start the car up and do this run in/test run with pump 98 (93 octane in the states? I'm an Aussie).
Appreciate any help! Let me know if you need more info.

nb: not sure if this belongs here or in tuning sub-forum.

you can try with a basemap and monitor with wideband / increase fuel as necessary. no boosting
honestly its not very hard load up a map input injector settings / map sensor and select all cells and increase/decrease until your afrs are good, see what it does with light throttle and increase / decrease as necessary. lookup hunter tuned on youtube he shows you the basics
if your not comfortable with that you can check with phearable I think they sell basemaps. thats what I did B18c Turbo GSR
