Default Solid CEL months later leaky capicitors, ecu repaired now CEL 22

Since i had a solid check engine light before this could this have hidden/not shown other codes(that was the only code i had for months until my capacitors leaked)? Everything seemed like it was running fine while i had the solid CEL.

Then i got ecu repaired and new capacitors. After i installed ecu a new code popped up CEL 22 , was this caused by the ecu repair? Hadn't had that code when i had a solid CEL or before capacitors leaked. Trying to see if i should contact the person who repaired my ecu or not.

This on P28 ecu jdm b18c type r with USDM vtec solenoid/switch.

If you reset the ECU, does the code return? If so, start by voltage testing the pressure switch and Ohm testing the solenoid.

Also check whether the engine oil level and/or pressure is low.

reset ecu a few times comes back. Oil level right around the two dots. Filter gasket is clean. The pins connected to plugs on both the ecu side and passenger side harness seated like others. Haven't checked volts but will check continuity on the pressure switch.

Just strange to me that cel 22 shows up right after i got ecu repaired.

Rule out the simpler possibilities first.

There looks to be voltage at the plug of the vtec pressure switch(not sure if right but put one end of probe at positive side of plug and the other probe to a ground on the chassis), checked for continuity from the ground of plug to chassis of plug was good. Check also continuity of vtec pressure switch sensor good(was not when engine was on or car on on position). Also checked a known good vtec pressure switch sensor and another one that not sure if working or not same CEL 22 shows up.

Other notes when i clear the ecu(after 15-20 min) turn key to on position without turning on car CEL turns on pump primes then couple seconds later cel comes right back on. Supposedly that is an ecu problem if that happens but not very sure only read couple posts about that situation. Which was why i suspected ecu as culprit.

CEL 22? If so, that's a better fit with an electrical problem.

Unplug ECU connector and repeat test. If you measure continuity to body ground, there's a short to ground in the wire.

I worded "chassis of plug was good" wrong, didn't catch it. I meant to say chassis/body ground was good. So i checked continuity of the vtec pressure switch plug ground when ecu was unplugged it was still reading good. So is this not what is suppose to happen? It's suppose to have open circuit when ecu unplugged?

Yea CEL 22
When the caps C18 or C40 leak it can damage one of two traces that can make code 22 come up. See the red lines in the first image and test those traces and the repair I had to make in the second image from the C18 cap damange.
